College Access and Success Initiative (CASI)
The College Access & Success Initiative (CASI 2.0) is a three-year initiative that builds on the success of the first CASI grant launched in 2015 and the work of the Florida College Access Network (FCAN).
During the first CASI opportunity, UpliftED, in partnership with the Central Florida Foundation, raised over $100K. This year, UpliftED’s hope is to not only surpass that amount but also offer the chance for a multi-year partnership. Your first year’s investment would be matched dollar for dollar (1:1), up to $50K. The subsequent contribution would not be matched.
If you would like to partner with UpliftED and the Central Florida Foundation on this matching opportunity, fill out the form below so that a team member can help you with your investment.
Central Florida Foundation was awarded a challenge grant from Florida Philanthropic Network’s (FPN) CASI 2.0 to enhance, strengthen, and sustain UpliftED. This 1:1 match grant will leverage $50,000 from FPN for a total of (at least) $100K to be invested in UpliftED’s mission.
· 75% of the CASI Fund will be invested in the day-to-day programmatic needs of UpliftED (staff support, FAFSA incentives, student interns, events and convenings, marketing and communications)
· 25% of dollars raised will create an endowment providing annual capital to further the evolving goals of UpliftED and related community education and workforce development goals
CASI 2.0 is made possible by the following partners: Florida College Access Network, Florida Philanthropic Network, Helios Education Foundation, & The Kresge Foundation.
